Comfortable Stay with great hosts
Great stay with the loveliest hosts. It is a family run lodge. The rooms are comfortable and cozy with little balconies where you can read. Ours overlooked the river. The food is great. They have a nice dining area with sofas and books where you can relax. The owners take great care of their guests and are lovely to talk to. The jakar dzong is walking distance. We stayed here during the Jakar tshechu 2026 and could walk to the dzong early in the morning to watch the dances and the thongdrel.
Pretty Lodge in Bumthang Bhutan
Thoughtful and very kind owners! Ms Lucky was so considerate about our food and allergies - went out of her way to accommodate our requirements. Rooms were clean and comfortable!
The lodge itself is so pretty! Has all the amenities you need for your stay, clean, comfortable and well maintained. The main living area where we had all our meals just felt so cosy! They have books and comfy sofas where you can read and just fall asleep! I’d love to go back in the winters and stay around that furnace that they have!
If we were to ever go back, this is where we would stay!

Fantastic Lodge in Bumthang
What a wonderful family owned gem this lodge is! Our hosts were welcoming, superbly friendly and engaging, and genuinely concerned about making our stay as pleasant as possible. We spent 3 nights, attending local festivals and visiting surrounding attractions. Our meals were excellent, and I have to say the laundry service is superb. I have never had items so beautifully folded and presented! Thank you!
