My stay at the Jakar Village Lodge Hotel was outstanding, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Bumthang. it means a lot to be received by such exceptional staff and proprietor.It was easy booking my stay, you can find them on booking.com or reach out to them via WhatsApp and their room rate were extremely affordable for any budget.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in Bhutan
Just loved it! Nice traditional architecture. Comfortable bed, clean room, tasty food and the best coffee freshly melted that I tasted in Bhutan. The food for the dinner and also breakfast was traditional, local and very tasty! And all the people smiling, kind and happy.

When in Bumthang, stay at Jakar Village Lodge
While exploring the wonders of the Bumthang Valley in central Bhutan, we based at Jakar Village Lodge. This delightful and traditional lodge was a pleasure to come home to - large and pleasant rooms, great food and 5-star hospitality from the family who runs it. Nestled beneath an ancient Dzong and surrounded by inspiring and beautiful country and vistas, it was a pleasure to converse with the inter-generational owners and their lovely daughter, about the history and relevance of the district. A great experience.

Absolutely fantastic!
Absolutely fantastic hospitality! Cozy rooms, and excellent local cuisine. The lodge has been running for 3 generations. The family-run establishment provides great attention to the needs and preferences of guests. Location and rooms are perfect. The rooms are intricately painted. Highly recommended
