Why Choose Us?

Our goal is to ensure each guest leaves Bhutan with the impression that it was worth visiting this place. We want our guests to get to see the real Bhutan by visiting its villages and farm houses and taste it home cooked delicacies. We handle only few tour groups at a time in order for us to be able to offer the best service. We are recognized and certified by Trip Advisor for the past few years

Environment-Friendly Initiatives

At our lodge, we believe that providing a memorable, comfortable stay goes hand-in-hand with protecting the natural beauty that surrounds us. By focusing on mindful resource management and supporting our local community, we strive to minimize our environmental footprint while enhancing the quality of your experience.

1. Energy Efficiency & Mindful Conservation

We actively manage our energy consumption through smart, practical upgrades that reduce waste without compromising on modern comforts:

  • Energy-Efficient Lighting: We utilize low-energy LED lighting throughout our guest rooms, common areas, and outdoor pathways.

  • Smart Climate Control: Our rooms feature programmable heating and cooling settings to ensure energy is conserved when guests are out exploring.

  • Natural Elements: Where possible, we leverage natural insulation and architectural layout to maximize daylight and maintain comfortable indoor temperatures.

2. Water Stewardship

Water is one of our planet’s most precious resources. We implement simple yet effective conservation methods to ensure nothing goes to waste:

  • Smart Fixtures: All guest bathrooms are equipped with low-flow faucets and aerated showerheads, ensuring excellent water pressure while significantly reducing overall water usage.

  • Linen & Towel Reuse Program: To conserve both water and energy, we encourage guests on multi-night stays to reuse towels and linens, minimizing daily chemical-heavy laundering.

3. Waste Reduction & Eco-Friendly Amenities

We are continuously working to eliminate single-use plastics and reduce landfill waste across our daily operations:

  • Bulk Guest Amenities: Instead of miniature plastic bottles, we provide high-quality, organic soaps, shampoos, and conditioners in elegant, refillable wall dispensers.

  • Filtered Water Stations: We provide fresh, filtered water stations for our guests, encouraging the use of reusable glassware and flasks over single-use plastic bottles.

  • Responsible Housekeeping: Our team exclusively uses biodegradable, non-toxic cleaning products that keep our rooms pristine while keeping harmful chemicals out of the local ecosystem.

4. Local Sourcing & Community Support

True sustainability includes caring for the community we call home. We prioritize local partnerships to reduce transport emissions and celebrate local culture:

  • Farm-to-Table Flavors: We source fresh, seasonal ingredients from nearby farms and markets for our breakfast and dining offerings, minimizing “food miles” and supporting local growers.

  • Community First: From sourcing local decor to recommending homegrown guides and artisans, we aim to channel the benefits of tourism directly back into our neighborhood.

A Shared Journey Green hospitality isn’t about compromising on luxury—it’s about making thoughtful choices. We invite you to join us in these efforts during your stay, proving that responsible travel can be deeply rewarding, relaxing, and authentic.
